What is the purpose of this program?
The purpose of this program is to foster effective communication, empathy, and unified parenting among parents and teens navigating the challenges and opportunities of adolescence. By providing support, guidance, and resources, the program aims to strengthen parent-teen relationships, promote emotional well-being, and empower families to navigate adolescence with confidence and unity. How long is the program?
The program is designed as a weekend intensive, running from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM over one weekend with a one-hour lunch break. Over the course of the weekend, participants will engage in a series of interactive sessions and workshops aimed at strengthening parent-teen relationships, promoting effective communication, empathy, and unified parenting. With ample time for learning, discussion, and practical exercises, participants will have the opportunity to delve deeply into the content and develop valuable skills to navigate adolescence with confidence and unity.

Throughout our weekend intensive program, participants will engage in a comprehensive exploration of essential topics for navigating adolescence and strengthening parent-teen relationships. We delve into understanding adolescence, effective communication strategies, building empathy, setting healthy boundaries, and promoting emotional regulation for both parents and teens. We also cover unified parenting approaches, navigating peer relationships, promoting digital well-being, and strengthening family bonds. Who can attend?
The program is open to parents, guardians, foster parents, and caregivers of teenagers aged 12 to 17, as well as teenagers themselves who are interested in participating and improving their relationships with their parents or caregivers. Additionally, individuals or families seeking support, guidance, and resources to navigate the challenges and opportunities of adolescence are welcome to attend. Our program aims to provide valuable insights and practical skills to anyone involved in the care and support of teenagers during this transformative stage of life.
Are programs offered online or face to face?
Our program is currently offered exclusively through in-person sessions. We believe in the value of face-to-face interaction and the opportunity for participants to engage directly with facilitators and fellow attendees. Do you get a certificate at the end?
Yes, upon successful completion of the program, participants will receive a certificate of attendance. This certificate acknowledges their participation in the program. If you have any specific requirements regarding the certificate, please let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Do you provide a report for court at the end
While we don't typically provide reports specifically for court proceedings, we can offer documentation of participation and progress in our program upon request. This documentation may include attendance records, summaries of topics covered, and any relevant insights or observations made during the program. If you require documentation for court purposes, please inform us, and we will work with you to provide the necessary information to the best of our ability.
What is the cost of the program?
The fee for our program is $250 per participant, with a reduced rate of $200 for concession card holders. We understand that financial circumstances may vary, and we encourage participants experiencing hardship to reach out to the practitioner or to Bethanie directly to discuss this. There can be a discounted rate of $400 for a couple.
